Dr. Joseph Majdalani, P.E., CFM – Senior Civil / Structural Engineer
AllianceEPC Public Works Team Leader
With over 40 years of leadership in civil engineering and public works, Joseph brings unparalleled expertise in managing billion-dollar infrastructure projects and multidisciplined teams, while enhancing city and county resilience, and aligning with federal regulatory mandates.
His career includes serving as Senior Assistant Director for the City of Houston Public Works Department, General Manager of Jefferson County Drainage District No. 6, and Public Works Director for the City of Beaumont. He holds a Master of Civil Engineering Degree from University of Southwestern Louisiana and a Doctor of Engineering Degree from Lamar University where he also served as an Adjunct Professor for 20 years.
He is a Certified Floodplain Manager with professional engineering licenses in Texas, Louisiana, and California, and has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2025 Winfield S. Mahlie Award from the Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT), and the 2013 Engineer of the Year Award from the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE).
